With a career spanning more than twenty years, Kay joined MCB in 2024 and specializes in advising high net-worth individuals, families, and executives on income tax, trust, estate, gift, and wealth transfer planning matters. Prior to joining MCB, she served as a Managing Tax Director at BDO USA, LLP. Kay is an active member of the Northern Virginia Estate Planning Council and other professional organizations.
Kay is fluent in Korean, which adds value to the firm’s increasingly multilingual business portfolio.
Outside of work, Kay enjoys reading, cooking and traveling. She also loves going on long walks while listening to podcasts and audio books to make time for introspection. Being a lifelong student, Kay gets energized knowing that each day offers countless opportunities, and therefore she tries her best to face each day with the right mindset.
