With a career spanning more than twenty years, Kay joined Matthews, Carter & Boyce in 2024. Her practice focuses on high net worth individuals, including professionals, executives and business owners. In addition to offering expertise in annual compliance work, she advises her clients on income, gift tax and estate planning matters.

Prior to joining Matthews, Carter & Boyce, Kay worked at BDO USA, LLP as a managing tax director.

Kay is fluent in Korean, which adds value to our increasingly multilingual business arena. We are pleased to be able to share her expertise and her fresh perspectives with our clients.

Outside of work, Kay enjoys reading (mostly self improvement books), cooking and traveling. She also loves going on long walks while listening to podcasts and audio books to clear her head and make time for introspection. Being a lifelong student, Kay gets energized knowing that each day offers countless opportunities, and therefore she tries her best to face each day with the right mindset.
