Brian Kelly joins us from James Madison University:

I graduated from JMU this May and will pursue grad school this fall at St. Joseph’s University. When I am not studying accounting, you can find me at the Jersey Shore surfing, playing frisbee, or fishing.  I am excited to have the opportunity to work at Matthews, Carter, & Boyce this summer.  I have already learned a lot so far.  Everyone has been very friendly and willing to answer any of my questions.”

Caroline Harley joins us from George Mason University:

I am a senior at GMU expecting to graduate in May with a B.S. in Accounting. I wanted to intern with a local firm because it was stressed to me that I would get the most exposure to actual tax or audit work instead of clerical work. MCB provides me this exposure within one internship. I found MCB to be very welcoming, helpful, and interested in my growth and future in accounting. In 5 days, I have learned more than I had ever imagined by simply jumping in and doing the work. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of the MCB team this summer, especially during COVID-19. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and participating in service activities through my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha.”

At MCB,  we are committed to providing a rewarding professional development opportunity as well as meaningful connections for our interns. Five of our partners started at MCB as entry level accountants, and we are dedicated to promoting the same career path as the one they experienced. We pride ourselves on offering a unique company culture and rewarding client work. Explore the different ways you can start growing your career at MCB by contacting us at [email protected].
