On Thursday, November 30th we spent a fantastic day together as a firm at our Employee Retreat and Holiday Party at International Country Club in Fairfax. It’s a well-documented fact that taking time away from work improves heart health, increases mindfulness, boosts brain power, improves sleep — and increases overall wellbeing. In true MCB spirit, the day was a combination of reflection, insight, togetherness, laughs and hope for the future.
We invited keynote speaker, Amy Vetter, to present her Connected Leader Program. We spent the day gaining insight into ourselves to better align our work and life to the value we want to create for ourselves and those around us.
As Amy commented, “I loved that all the partners split up amongst the team members of the firm for the day to participate, share, and listen. I never saw anyone in the room get distracted by their phones, instead each person was fully present and ready for the experience.”
We ended the day with a Holiday Celebration and BINGO fun mingling and learning interesting tidbits about our fellow team members in the hopes to win Gift Card BINGO! Can you guess which MCB team member is related to Dog, the Bounty Hunter?
