A seasoned audit professional and CPA, Tanvi Sinha joined Matthews, Carter & Boyce in 2013. As Senior Audit Manager, her practice focuses on not-for-profit organizations.

Prior to joining Matthews, Carter & Boyce, Tanvi worked as an Audit Supervisor at Dixon Hughes Goodman (now FORVIS).

Tanvi is active in professional organizations as a member of AICPA and VSCPA. She also lends her time and talent to causes she is passionate about, including serving as a board member, treasurer and audit committee chair at Doorways.

Tanvi became interested in a career in accounting because she enjoys combining technical knowledge with working with people; she says she likes to understand “the story behind the numbers.”

In addition to her CPA designation, she holds a MBA. She is fluent in Hindi. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, drawing and painting (especially abstract art) and listening to music.
