Principal

Richard W. Harpe, CPA is a Principal of Matthews, Carter & Boyce. He joined the firm in May 2021 and has over 33 years of experience. Prior to joining MCB, Rich spent over eight years at BDO USA.

Rich has significant experience serving high net worth individuals, closely held businesses and trusts and estates. A large part of his practice focuses on Tax Planning & Compliance. Though Rich has extensive focus in individual tax work, he enjoys the diversity of all tax work.

Additionally, Rich works at length with his clients’ attorneys and their investment advisors to ensure the overall goals and objectives of his clients are met. This close and personal attention helps ensure the overall goals and objectives of his clients are met.
