Matthews, Carter & Boyce is proud to announce our firm’s continued recognition in Accounting Today’s “Regional Leaders” for 2025. The Regional Leaders is part of Accounting Today’s ranking of the Top 100 Accounting Firms in the Mid-Atlantic.
Firms have traditionally been recognized by Accounting Today for innovative growth strategies and leading-edge service offerings, according to Editor-in-Chief Daniel Hood. The annual ranking of national and local firms also includes data analysis, as well as insights from chief executives on the major issues facing their firms as they position themselves for the rapid change that characterizes the profession. This year’s publication featured thoughts from Regional Leaders in a variety of areas, including approaches to ensure sustainable growth and strategies involving use of AI. In addition to advances in technology, leaders spoke to adding depth to industry specializations as important strategic considerations.
MCB Principal Kathleen Flaherty said listening to clients and adapting to their changing needs is always a key priority. MCB “added service offerings to assist clients with adapting to evolving business demands in what is currently a very fluid economic landscape,” she shared. “Among these, we expanded our offerings in Outsourced Accounting Services and continue to utilize AI to ensure our clients benefit from increased efficiency.”
Referencing growth strategies for 2025, she added: “We will continue growing and expanding our key niches, adding talent, and helping clients adapt to economic uncertainty. As our clients grow and evolve, we must continue to also evolve to ensure we are meeting their needs. This is more important than ever, as we are continuing our long-standing tradition of contributions to our regional economy.”
