Pam Priester is the Director of People Strategy at Matthews, Carter & Boyce. Pam’s experience spans more than 30 years in financial services, operations management and recruiting. She joined MCB in 2017.

Earlier in her career, Pam worked as an auditor and CPA with Coopers & Lybrand (C&L) and Assistant Controller in high-technology. She then migrated to managing recruiting and operations at both C&L and Arthur Andersen, and also spent time in retained search recruiting. For 15 years, she served as co-founder and trustee of a K-8th grade school, Lorien Wood School, in Vienna, VA, where she focused on administration, operations and governance.

At MCB, Pam champions and leads initiatives in recruiting, retention, and process improvement to support the firm’s continued growth.

Celebrating over 30 years of marriage, Pam enjoys time with her husband, their three adult daughters, a son-in-law, and their rambunctious golden retriever, Rocky. They are often found at Lake Monticello near Charlottesville enjoying the water and generally moving at a slower pace.
